Hello! I am Todd and currently 8th grade social studies teacher at Shepard Middle School (Deerfield). I have had the pleasure of teaching social studies at various grades. I have my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and I am always looking to learn what is best for my students and classroom. I enjoy the challenge of bringing history alive to students in a way in which they see that they are the history makers and drivers of what will occur. I believe there is no one way to reach students and that one needs to continually improve, reflect and challenge what one does. I started a journey in June of 2016 into two worlds I knew little about- coding and VR. The benefits and connections because of this journey have made it a wonderful adventure.
