In this session we will look at how one can maximize the effectiveness of time spent on standardized assessment by connecting key learning targets to daily experiences and on going formative assessment. Discussion will include a look at classroom learning targets, differentiating lessons easily and effectively, and connecting the daily learning to the ongoing retention. Additionally, techniques will be shared for easy ongoing in class assessment. NWEA MAP will be the sample tool used as a standardized test, but the same concepts are applicable to other standardized tools.
